Beef Roti
The one on the sign. Crispy spiral shell, juicy 13-spice beef, bright scallion — crunch you can hear from Lot 10.
Dough pulled by hand until it's paper-thin, spread with juicy beef and a blend of over 13 spices, rolled into a spiral and griddled to order at our kiosks in Bukit Bintang and Ombak KLCC. Crispy outside. Steaming inside. RM6.50.
Paper-thin layers, pulled by hand and griddled until they shatter at the first touch.
Then the juice: spiced beef, scallion and a 13-spice blend we will never write down.
Every Juǎn starts as one sheet of dough, pulled so thin you could read through it, spread with spiced beef and rolled up — 卷 — into the spiral on our sign. The name isn't branding. It's the recipe.

A rested dough ball, oiled and pulled by hand until it's thin enough to read through.
Juicy minced beef, scallion and the 13-spice blend, spread edge to edge.
Rolled up tight, layer over layer. Now look at the end of the roll…
That spiral is our logo. Every layer you'll crunch through is in it.
Coiled into a snail, pressed flat and griddled until every layer crackles. Then it's yours.
Tap the roti. Turn your sound up. This is the closest a website gets to the real thing — the real thing is RM6.50 at Lot 10 or Ombak KLCC.

It's crispier even when it's cold, and the filling is so flavorful. The chicken is perfectly seasoned too — not bland at all. Would definitely order again!
All hype, no disappointment. Crispy, flaky roti wrapped around juicy, flavour-packed Chinese beef; rich, bold, and seriously addictive. One bite explains the craze.
Juǎn Chinese Roti was an unexpected gem.
Excerpts from public Google reviews, shortened. Rating and topic counts as shown on the Google listing, Sept 2026.
Juǎn was born from a dream to share the bold, unforgettable flavours of Chinese Muslim cuisine. Our founder, Ma Zhixiang, grew up on the rich tastes of Ningxia, in China's northwest, and brought them to Jalan Bukit Bintang.
The secret is a traditional "pull and stretch" technique, perfected by skilled hands, that creates the perfect pastry every time. The filling is a fragrant blend of over 13 spices. The rest happens on a hot griddle, in front of you.
Bukit Bintang came first. Ombak KLCC is kiosk number two.
